About the rooms "Crewrooms offers.....
"CrewRooms" provides housing convenient to the airports, along the major transit routes to the airports that have the layouts and accommodations suitable for airline crews. We basically provide an apartment where you share the kitchen and bath with minimal other crewmembers as co-tenants but retain a completely private lockable CrewRoom. By managing the CrewRooms in such a way that makes the crewmember financially responsible only for his/her CrewRoom accommodation, it relieves the crewmember of the responsibility for the whole apartment, securing replacement Crew when someone leaves and finding other Crewmembers to share, and in most cases includes the utilities. Basically, instead of YOU taking on the responsibility of finding an apartment, finding roommates or co-tenants to share with and worrying about managing and paying for more than you can afford on your own we take on those responsibilities and manage it for you in what becomes an upscale rental arrangement with the convenience of a crashpad with the benefits and niceties of a shared apartment.
There is NO crowding in our CrewRooms! The most you will share an apartment with is 4 other Crew Members, each with their own private room! Based on historical experience, usually no more that 2 people are ever there at one time due to differing flight schedules! Our CrewRooms are PRIVATE, QUIET, SAFE, SECURE, LOCKABLE Accommodations! This is a completely legal operation in compliance with NYC laws and codes.
Being or having been in the airline business we are interested in your well being, proper rest, security, safety and privacy in decent accommodations that are affordable rather than sacrificing your standard of living and violating laws for maximum profits. This business model has worked well for us since 1990.
We have a minimum stay requirement of only 4 months, then month-to-month thereafter. NO Lease. A Rental Agreement with simple rules/terms and that's it! A background/credit check and A/L ID is required. We have had some long term tenants who have been with us for up to 18 YEARS ! That should speak volumes about CrewRooms accommodations !
WE ARE on the recommended list of several airlines including AA, DAL & jetBlue ! We DO NOT rent by the day or for shorter than 4 months. Daily rentals ARE ILLEGAL in NY unless you are a registered hotel/motel. Over-populated "crashpads" or for that matter any overcrowded (bunkbed non-family) housing is illegal in NY. We DO NOT participate in or condone illegal crowded housing of any type for anyone at any time.
NOTE: Illegal housing can be shut down by NY authorities with short notice! Do you want to be away on a trip and return to find your accommodations closed up? (Padlocked by Authorities?)

"CrewRooms" accommodations are professionally managed by experienced airline crews who are also Real Estate experienced personnel.
Company Policies –
1- We have a simple Month-to-Month Rental Agreement
2- There is a 4 month minimum stay
3- These are NO SMOKING, NO PET, QUIET accommodations
4- An application, Airline ID AND employment information IS REQUIRED
Management Info–
Founded by an Airline Capt. now retired. Most of Management are former or current Airline people, experienced and/or licensed in the Real Estate Profession.
